Smerenie wine was awarded by Gault Millau guide as the best Romanian red wine for 2019 gaining 94 out of 100 points.
It has an intensely violet-red color and it is an amazing well-balanced, well-rounded silky wine.
The aromas develop slight nuances of incense smoke, harmoniously mixed with notes of overripe sour-cherries.
It is an original blend of three reds: Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. Each of these wines has been matured in oak barrels.
Smerenie is a refined and alluring wine, excellent for immediate consumption, with real capacities of bottle maturation and aging.
Enjoy it with any red meat-based dishes or vegetarian and vegan dishes with clearly defined taste.
