FetNeg LACERTA (dry) box of 6 bottles

Fetneg is simply the anglicization of Fetească Neagră - an old variety of a Romanian/Moldovan grape. This is a rare wine outside of the region, although it has great ageing potential and tends to produce reds deep in colour and dark berry flavours.
FetNeg from Lacerta is a blend of 50% Feteasca Neagra and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Each variety is picked individually by hand, in boxes, and then carefully selected at the sorting table.
The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barriques from Romania & Russia (1st, 2nd and 3rd use). The varieties are blended after the wine is matured.
This wonderful blend has an intense red color, with a complex bouquet of blueberries and ripe cherries, cocoa. The taste is intense with aromas of dark berries, plum jam, coffee and vanilla. The aftertaste is long with evolving aromas.
