Superpremium UNIQ 2 Vinarte + gift box (dry) sold by bottle

UniQ 2nd edition is a rare edition (only 3,440 bottles are available), appearing only in exceptional conditions, being a combination of two different vineyards of Vinarte, coming from barrels selected from exceptional years.
This blend is composed of the three overselections of Merlot (2017), Cabernet Sauvignon (2018) and Feteasca Neagra (2020) from different exceptional years. The Merlot and Feteasca Neagra grapes are harvested from the plots reserved for Prince Mircea on the Vinarte domains from Starmina (Mehedinti), while the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are gathered from the coasts of Bolovanu Hill (Olt), the birthplace of the emblematic SOARE.
Aromas of black fruits, ripe cherry, spice, with earthy notes and hints of strawberry jam and cherry compote. Opens to red fruits after a while. The wood is well integrated, the acidity is good, the tannins are well marked. At the end, it brings the taste of cocoa and coffee.
Absolutely stunning wine, with the potential to evolve for at least another 10 years.
