Winner of the Gold medal of Berliner Wine Trophy 2020. This sophisticated blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Fetească Regală has a pale yellow-orange color and opens with a scent of wild flowers, herbs and beeswax. When we turn the glass, we smell aromas of spices and apricot jam, and the taste reveals delicate tannins, ripe apples and vanilla.
For Orange Wine Budureasca, the winery oenologist chose the Sauvignon Blanc and Fetească Regală varieties for their high aromatic potential. The grapes were peeled and lightly pressed, and then left to ferment on the skin at a temperature of about 18-20 ° C, for 3 weeks, during which daily reassembly was performed (a process that aims to preserve wet grape skins), for extracting aromas, tannins and color. Matured first in a 5000L oak barrels, then in a stainless steel tank, the wine was stored for a whole year before being bottled and aged in glass for another few months.
Wine made from grapes harvested at full maturity (D.O.C. - C.M.D. Dealu Mare).
Try it with fish, cheese, chicken and pork, spicy oriental dishes, grilled vegetable skewers.
For a full tasting experience, we recommend serving wine at a temperature of 12 - 14 ° C.
